Sweethome Serenade

My project is situated within an HDB estate in Tanglin Halt and is focused on revitalising the area's cultural identity. I wanted to bring back the rich musical heritage and nostalgic elements of food and communal recreation that once defined the neighbourhood. Inspired by a vintage-retro aesthetic, my design blends both past and present, creating a space that not only preserves the essence of Tanglin Halt but also encourages social interaction and a renewed sense of community. Through this approach, I aimed to celebrate its history while reimagining its role in a modern urban context.
